4th Petal // Video - Action in Goldenrod
I'm curious... Has anyone ever found themselves leaning towards a certain type of Pokemon? Whether on purpose or by accident.
I admit I originally took in my Cyndaquil so that my Charmander- although they've both since evolved- so that he could be more comfortable with an element he already knew. I hadn't made any particular plans past that.
I ask because I had thought my Eevee could decide if he wanted to evolve or not. While it seems like he's more than ready, I'm starting to wonder if his choice is maybe...
[And then he focuses the camera not on himself but on the trio of Pokemon who are gathered in front of a glass case in one of Goldenrod's shops. There's a Quilava, a Charmeleon, and an Eevee who is staring up at the Charmeleon with something that is very obviously outright adoration.]
...Just a little bit influenced by my current team. Ah, I suppose I really should branch out a bit more...
[There's a ghostly giggle and the camera jerks a bit a little from Garry's surprise.]
You don't count.
[Action in Goldenrod]
[Anyone going through the shops this morning might come across Garry and his Pokemon. The Fire Stone's been bought by this point, and now he's simply taking a moment to kneel by his Eevee and give it a few last pets while it's still in its unevolved form. He seems to be doing his very very best to ignore the Shuppet floating gleefully around its head.]

[Then again, Chihiro doesn't really battle...]
...I'm guessing your Eevee wants to evolve into a Flareon, right, Garry-kun?
Yes, that's right. I wasn't particularly dedicated to any of the evolutions, so I thought I would see if Haze had a preference.
I've done some research on them all, and they all seem good in their own ways.
...Though I understand your concern, since you have a... lot of fire types...
If a situation occurs where there's a lot of water, we really will be in some amount of trouble. At the same time, if this is what Haze is really set on, I don't want to force him into something he doesn't like.
I suppose I might have to catch or hatch another Pokemon... I was thinking of a Gible after meeting someone very king at the prom.
[But at least he plans on doing more breeding than training, but....yeah he really should get a little more variety.]
[video] kind not king, self, what even
[video] shh it's ok
[Though, honestly, he feels like Porygon could really be something other than Normal type, but ah well.]
[Something starts to wander in close with persistent giggles right up against Garry's face, and his smile twitches.]
...Well, for the most part besides this dreadful thing.
W....what is that?
[It...looks like a ghost type of some sort, but not one he's encountered yet.]
[Also known as Garry's pain in the ass.]
It found me at Prom and has refused to leave me be.

[Now why on earth would a Pokemon want such a thing?]
Re: [video]
[Now that he thinks about it...]
Perhaps that's why it's so interested in it, because I am.
[That's directed to the floating muppet from hell still hanging about him.]
This isn't something you can have, and I won't tolerate you trying to steal it whenever you think the Repel is wearing off.
[The Shuppet just makes the most dramatic sound noise and tries to cuddle up against his face. Garry bristles.]
Stop that!
..If you keep having troubles, maybe you could see if someone else could care for that Shuppet for you. ...And if not permanently, just long enough to teach it some manners.
I'll have to see about training Izzy some more. We haven't had the time lately. But perhaps when he's evolved, he'll have an easier time dealing with this.
Well....I wouldn't mind watching over it for a while for you, if you ever need someone to do that.
[It's a bit ironic, considering the fact that John got him curious about ghost types when he first arrived. Still, he is a breeder, and he needs to try to hone his breederly skills. ...Which probably include teaching Pokemon to not get all up in their trainers' business.]
[That just makes her protest more, and he has to bat her away from one of his pockets.]
[Chihiro plans on going ghost hunting in the form of Rotoms later anyway, so maybe Red Eyes could help there somehow.]
[Red Eyes is starting to huff, now. But she loves you Garry why do you throw her away]
I will. ...Who knows, you may have worked something out before then.
