artificialrose: (daydreamgalleries) (You're just mad because I have)
I finally got my first batch of eggs out. I... originally planned for it to be a much smaller batch- it turns out that Garchomps don't produce too many, which is fine by me.

But, well...

[Shaking his head but smiling a bit, Garry turns the camera away to show a Blaziken sitting primly by the window. As she waits, Garry's Flareon trots up and leaves some soggy wet flowers at her feet. A small pile of the things has already been formed. His tail keeps wagging, and the Blaziken seems pretty pleased.]

It turns out while I wasn't looking, Haze has been trying to court Anpiel. Judging by the four eggs I found today, it looks like he was successful! So I have six eggs to sell for you all, if you're interested. I've decided to keep one for myself, you see.

From what I can tell, most of them are Torchics. They're about this big when they start out- [Garry makes an approximate gesture with his hands.] -and their final evolution is Anpiel there. I also have a Gible egg, if anyone is interested in having a dragon type on their team!

Dist, I know I promised an Eevee egg if I bred any of mine, and Greed, I told you I'd give you a Charmander egg... Well, I have both of those right now, if you two are still interested!

[Attached to the network post is a list of the Pokemon and the moves Garry thinks they know.]
artificialrose: (dojicons) (That doesn't help it make any more)
I'm curious... Has anyone ever found themselves leaning towards a certain type of Pokemon? Whether on purpose or by accident.

I admit I originally took in my Cyndaquil so that my Charmander- although they've both since evolved- so that he could be more comfortable with an element he already knew. I hadn't made any particular plans past that.

I ask because I had thought my Eevee could decide if he wanted to evolve or not. While it seems like he's more than ready, I'm starting to wonder if his choice is maybe...

[And then he focuses the camera not on himself but on the trio of Pokemon who are gathered in front of a glass case in one of Goldenrod's shops. There's a Quilava, a Charmeleon, and an Eevee who is staring up at the Charmeleon with something that is very obviously outright adoration.]

...Just a little bit influenced by my current team. Ah, I suppose I really should branch out a bit more...

[There's a ghostly giggle and the camera jerks a bit a little from Garry's surprise.]

You don't count.

[Action in Goldenrod]

[Anyone going through the shops this morning might come across Garry and his Pokemon. The Fire Stone's been bought by this point, and now he's simply taking a moment to kneel by his Eevee and give it a few last pets while it's still in its unevolved form. He seems to be doing his very very best to ignore the Shuppet floating gleefully around its head.]
