It's unfortunate, isn't it, when people you've grown to like suddenly disappear in quick succession. I'd grown to enjoy their company, but I suppose that's how this place is, isn't it?

[It's just... Garry's first time experiencing it. He gives a sigh, video showing him seated outside somewhere this morning with one hand petting a Gible in his lap while the other dangles a lolipop. Just something to keep his mouth occupied since the urge for a smoke was particularly strong today.]

A few more Pokemon were suddenly found in my PC with Marcia and Kaede leaving. I wonder how that works? [He gives a shake of his head and offers the network a soft smile.] But... onto brighter topics.

First of all, I've made a new version of a coat I was very fond of back home. [Yes, he knows it's tattered here and there, but it's stylishly tattered. Big difference.] Secondly-

[He shifts the video to show a Charizard swooping through the air over the ocean near Goldenrod. He seems to be showing off to the Lapras that's lounging down below.]

Izzy evolved not too long ago into his final stage! He's very pleased about it and- [A Shadow Ball is suddenly tossed at Izzy, who dodges it and gives an angry roar. Garry sighs and shifts the camera to show a Banette on the docks, pointing and cackling.] ...Red Eyes evolved as well. She's even worse looking now, and she won't let up on tormenting Izzy.

[He shakes his head, ignoring the sound of conflict.]

Those two... Anyway, I've also been doodling a few outfit ideas just to past the time. If anyone's interested, this is what I've sketched out so far. [He holds up a sketchbook, with a set of four pictures shown.] What do you think? I know it's not much but, as I said, it's just something I've been doing in my spare time for fun.

[After that Chihiro cuts the feed and prepares to head out to the department store. Not too many people are home at the house at the moment, but he leaves a small note regardless before departing.

Once Chihiro gets to the store, he can be seen with his Eevee, Henko, and his Abra, Chiaki, following him close behind. Though they had been in pretty low spirits for a while, Chihiro managed to coax Rich and Alice into training just a small amount with his own Pokemon, enough to get them some exercise and possibly cheer them up, as well as utilize their Pay Day attacks to get some money to purchase TMs. But first...

Before Garry arrives he buys an Everstone and a small collar to affix it to before gently putting it on Chiaki's neck. The little Abra seemed mostly uninterested in fighting, but also didn't seem too eager to evolve any time soon.]

[It takes a bit of walking to get to first the Pokecenter to switch out his Pokemon- especially considering Red Eyes had tried running away from the Pokeball. But soon enough, Garry is hurrying into the department store. Instead of his usual team, he has four other Pokemon out. A Gardevoir is hanging onto his arm while a little Eevee is trotting about his feet. A Pidgeot is following behind, dwarfing the others it seems. An Altaria is doing its gosh darned best to stay perched up on... Garry's back it seems. It's.... really big...]

[When he sees Chihiro, Garry gives a wave.]

Hello! Over here!

[Chihiro looks up, having just finished affixing the collar to Chiaki's neck. The Abra hovers in the air just over Chihiro's shoulder while Henko sits at his feet, her ears perking when he spots the other Eevee with Garry.

Don't mind her as she just ZZZOOOOOMS over to say hello HELLO FRIEND.]

Ah- hello, Garry-kun.

[He pauses to look him over, blinking at the array of Pokemon he has with him.]

Are these the Pokemon you were left with?

[artificialrose]

[Whoa there HI FRIEND she is sort of startled to meet you. Also a bit despondent, but she'll still lean over to sniff at Henko.]

Yes, that's right. I thought I could get to know them while we walked here. These two- [He points to the Gardevoir and the Altaria taking up space on his back.] -are both boys, while the other two are girls.

[Henko sits down with a friendly chirp of "Eevee!", tilting her head this way and that as she gives the Eevee a sniff in return.

Chihiro steps a bit closer with a smile to the group of Pokemon, folding his hands at his front before dipping his head to them.]

It's nice to meet you all.

[artificialrose]

I'd do a proper introduction... But I think I've already explained the problem there.

[It's only the Gardevoir who returns the greeting properly, the others seeming either too shy or sad.]

Did I keep you waiting long?

Oh no, not at all. I was just buying an Everstone for Chiaki...

[The Abra lifts her head sleepily, her claws idly running over the collar she's now wearing.]

And trying to decide which TMs to buy, but I hadn't started looking yet.

[artificialrose]

Shall we look together then? Is there one of your Pokemon in particular you want to get a TM for?

Ah, well....Chiaki here, perhaps. And maybe Zip.

[More for breeding than anything, even though Porygons can't exactly breed. One of these days Chihiro will invest in a Ditto he swears.]

Maybe something flashy to start with, then...? I'll have to look up what movies Chiaki can learn.

To be honest, she's not much of a battler...but I wanted to teach her some new moves just in case I get someone she can breed with.

[All she knows so far is Teleport, so...]

It's a good idea! I want to do that as well with Izzy and- hopefully- Bice, the Gible that I'm raising. I'm hoping the two of them will get along well.

[Egg laying well, in fact, but who knows just yet.]

I wonder what sort of moves are really sought after... I suppose we just need to make our best guesses, don't we?

Mhm. Part of good breeding is being willing to experiment, I think... I haven't done much yet, so I suppose this is as good of a start as any.

[Rich and Alice seem to have good move pools already so they'll be good for breeding...but that still leaves the moves of the rest of his own Pokemon to be something to be desired.]

We can try to think of names for your Pokemon while we look.

So where would you like to start?

[He ponders that for a moment, looking at the collection of Pokemon with Garry. Then he looks to the Gardevoir, smiling slightly.]

Why don't we start with you?

[artificialrose]

[The Gardevoir looks back at Chihiro, holding himself up straight and elegantly. If Chihiro has seen any other of this Psychic-type, then he probably knows that this kind of Pokemon basically evolves more and more elegant. Seems to be a species trait. But this one in particular definitely seems to be doing his best to maintain that image, holding properly onto Garry's arm.]

[There's a reach out with his mind to touch Chihiro's, a soft but male voice speaking to him mentally. Hello.]

[Chihiro blinks slowly, a bit taken off guard by the male voice. It doesn't take long for the surprise to be replaced by a small smile as he dips his head a bit to the Pokemon.]

H...hello. It's nice to meet you.

...Could you tell me a bit about yourself?

[artificialrose]

[The Gardevoir definitely seems to be considering Chihiro before he answers.]

[Everyone misses Kaede-chan. Yet just missing her won't help any of us. Until they get over that, I'll keep all of them on track. There's a pointed stare to the Pidgeot, who ruffles her feathers. She trusted him- A delicate nod to Garry. -enough to travel with him in the first place, and leave us with him, so I am doing the same.]

[Chihiro nods a bit, tugging the edges of his skirt down.]

I understand. That....that is a very brave thing for all of you to do.

[For a moment he hesitates, watching the Gardevoir carefully.]

....Do you like the name "Rida"? It is a word in Japanese that means "leader" or "guide".

[artificialrose]

[The Gardevoir seems to consider it, one hand going up to his chin, before nodding. It seems like an acceptable name.]

[Thank you. The little Eevee down at Garry's feet reaches over to paw in congratulations at her friend's dress-like protrusions, pleased with this. Rida may be the leader, but the little Eevee is still the first of Kaede's Pokemon.]

Rida... It's a good name.

I'm glad you like it.

[Next Chihiro turns his attention to the other Pokemon while still speaking to Rida.]

Could you tell me a little bit more about your companions, please?

[artificialrose]

[Rida nods and lowers himself down just a bit. At the offered arm, the Eevee hops up and scurries up to his shoulder.]

[This one was with Kaede the longest- one of her children is with Garry now already.]

Oh, really? ...so she was their partner, then.

[artificialrose]

[The Eevee seems to deflate a little bit, ears lowering. Rida nods.]

[Kaede was a breeder- many of this one's children are with others. Her partner was a Buneary. That is to say, the one the Eevee bred with. Rida wouldn't exactly call them lovers or anything of that sort.]
