[Something just occurred to him as he was in the middle of brushing his new poodle-dog, so Garry decides to turn on the SFC to voice his thoughts to the network while he continues. At least the Furfrou looks content.]
For everyone who's been here since April... Do you all remember the prom? It was exciting- and exhausting since I'd done some commissions- but there were so many apparently very important people there... And that enormous library.
I remember being there, along with a friend, trying to see if there were any notes or books that could tell us about our predicament since the two of us were still new. Marcia and I never did seem to find anything about that... But I recall reading some notes that I suppose were written by the host. They seemed to talk about a new type of Pokemon.
I can't imagine what a new type would look like... I mean, we seem to have a good balance already, don't you think? There's 17, which is, ah... [He pauses in his dog grooming to count on his fingers as he remembers.] Fire, Ghost, Water, Normal, Dragon, Ground, Ice, Psychic, Flying, Fighting... Grass and Poison.. Electric, Rock, Bug... Dark? And one more... Ah, that's right, Steel. I can't possibly imagine what a eighteenth type could even be.
So I suppose I have two questions. The first is, if you could somehow come up with a Pokemon type of your own, what would it be?
The second... [The Furfrou suddenly acts up, leaning closer to lick at his face. Garry laughs slightly.] Does anyone have any dog grooming tips?

How could anybody forget that bullshit? [Kuzuryuu, it really wasn't that bad and you know it.] Anyway, dunno about what I'd make it but if there really is an eighteenth type, my guess would be that it's some kind of light type. Since there's a dark type and all...kinda weird that the opposite doesn't exist.
video;
Instead... They're weak against Bug and Fighting, right? That's always seemed strange.
video;
[Ah, vidya mechanics.]
But if it's not a light type then...maybe wind? We've got all the other basic elements. Flying's really the closest to that but it's not really the same thing now, is it? Especially since I've never fuckin' heard of a pure flying type.

Speaking of dogs though...what sort of tips were yo looking for?
video;
[Goddammit, Johto.]
Mostly how to take care of this much fur. It seems a bit like a poodle, although a bit more shaggy I should think, and I know they're quite prided on their fur back where I'm from.

I'm sorry, I don't know much about dogs, except that they liked to be petted. [Which she demonstrates, and is heartily accepted.]
So, there was a party here? With important people?

[She nods.] Uh, okay. I'll do that.
And, for your question. Maybe there could be an "unknown" type.

[Is 'Life Fiber' a type of Pokemon, because if not it should be.]I would assume the last type would be 'Light'.
[Did you miss Nui, Garry? She... did not especially miss you. But she doesn't particularly miss any humans, and that is probably a good thing anyway.]
Or it could be something totally ridiculous, like 'color' or 'sound'. That might fit more with the mood of this place.
[She would make 'Fashion' a type if she could, but the Furfrou seem close enough for now.]
And as for the second, this-
[Her camera turns, focusing on a pair of Furfrou styled roughly into the Debutant and Matron cuts, but... bows. Bows everywhere. She's clearly new at it, but they at least look happier about it than Nui's last attempt at dressing up her Pokemon, anyway.]
[video]
[He does nearly drop the 'Gear from his hands, but... since this is definitely totally a normal conversation... Right? He'll stay on.]
Light would fit with Dark, but... You are right, something out of the ordinary like 'Sound' could definitely be possible.
[Because what the hell is "making sense" in the Pokemon world? He goes quiet as she turns the camera to the Furfrou and... Oh.]
That's... actually really lovely! How did you do it?
Re: [video]
With scissors and dye, silly! And of course it's lovely, I was the one who did it, after all.
[She turns the camera back to herself, but the two Furfrou follow, looking over Nui's shoulders at the feed. It's not clear whether they're actually interested or just want to show off their grooming some more, amateur effort or not.]
They both seemed very eager to be groomed, so I decided to see how far I could take it before they got fussy.
[She hasn't hit their limit yet, at least.]
The rest was just looking at dog grooming cuts from Paris.
[And the Pokémon grooming information she found in Azalea abd Goldenrod's libraries, but like hell she's actually mentioning any real effort put into her work.]
[video]
[His own has certainly seemed happy with being brushed, but a more difficult task like those cuts is a bit different. Well, it's just something that would need to be found out for himself.]
I've never been to Paris before. Would it be alright if I asked what other sort of styles they do for dog grooming?
[He does live in Goldenrod, however, so it's just a matter of time before he figures things out. Probably.]
Re: [video]
Oh, it's just as varied as the fashions!
[This, at least, she's not totally bullshitting. Even if she never paid special attention to it, there WERE quite a lot of fancy dog-cuts in the fashion world. Sometimes as living accessories, sometimes just pets for models and designers.]
Some people even groomed digs to look like other animals entirely, but that always seemed a little gaudy to me.

Actually, Garry, I was wondering if you could help me come up with a good name for my newest Pokemon...it's a lion cub!

Yes, I recall taking those notes as well. Some type of - POKEMON! Not yet discovered but resistant to dragon types.
Me? I'd come up with a - FAIRY! Type but that's me. [And his obsession with those.]
As for your second question, are you talking about something 'fancy'?
[Video]
Fairy? I'm not really sure how that would work. Still, I suppose it is something new. [He gives a small shrug.]
I wouldn't say no to something fancy, but even just a basic cut to clean them up a bit.
