[Yet another friend having disappeared- a young girl he'd promised to be there for- has had Garry in a bit of a quiet mood, although never enough that he'll forget Ib. It had hurt for Saionji's promise of coming back after the storm to go unfulfilled, and to find all those Pokemon in his and Ib's PC...]

[And then today he'd gone out aaaaand-]

It's Free Ice Cream Day! [Garry is thrilled.] That's just the sort of thing I think we all need after everything! Ib, we should take Saionji's Pokemon and see if we can't cheer them up with some!

[And something for themselves, of course.]

If anyone else is in Goldenrod, we should meet up! It looks like the weather is beautiful, so there's no better time to meet new people as well.

[And indeed- Garry is seated at one of the outdoor seats of an ice cream parlor with Saionji's Pokemon out enjoying treats of their own. Saionji's Pokemon have been... a handful, but it looks like this has managed to distract them for now.]

In some places there are! The city I lived in before being dragged here would do it sometimes. I didn't think Johto would, so it's a pleasant surprise!

It's hard to tell if he's excited by the prospect of ice cream, or if he wants to get that Gear and see if he can fit it into his mouth.]

Near the center of town- I've heard there's a really good ice cream parlor around here but I've never gotten a chance to try it. I suppose now is as good a time as any!

[Jimmy had gotten wind of a so called "free ice cream day" and almost immediately booked it to the nearest ice cream parlor himself. He emerges from the establishment with a cone piled high with various assorted flavors in hand. Tucked in his free arm is a Buneary, who seems to be enjoying a poffin. As usual, his Manectric is with him too, walking slowly behind, with a Furret next to him and an Eevee riding on her back.

He stops to seek out somewhere to sit himself when he catches sight of a familiar Pokemon out of the corner of his eye- several familiar pokemon, in fact. Stopping, Jimmy turns and makes his way over to where Garry's sitting, lifting a hand in a small wave while trying not to dislodge the Buneary from her place.]

Hiya! Um...I couldn't help but notice those, uh...those Pokemon you got there. Are they yours?

[As a stranger approaches, Garry for what feels like the 80th time reaches down to place his hand on Tsubame's head to keep her from going after someone else. He gives a smile to Jimmy, although it falters a bit when he points out these aren't his Pokemon.]

Ah... no. They belong to someone important to me, but she left. I'm watching over them until she comes back.

[Jimmy is quiet for a minute as he looks over the Pokemon again before turning his attention back to Garry.]
